From time to time, we can let things slip. We forget to clean the house, or start eating more junk food. We ignore that unfinished task, and binge on a show instead. We let a bad thought stay in our mind, or a rash word come out of our mouth. And with all these faults it can be easy to feel guilty. But remember God loves you and when He looks at you, He doesn’t see your mistakes. He sees His Perfect Son (Rom 8:1). So, the next time you mess up, go to God with your struggles and pour out your thoughts and questions to Him. He will gently guide you. And soon you will be able to say like David “This poor man cried out, and the LORD heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles.”
4 Love [your Father] suffers long and is kind; love [your Father] does not envy; love [your Father] does not parade itself [Himself], is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its [His] own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8 Love [your Father] never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. - 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
